Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PICOVAL LIMITED collects, uses and protects personal data through this website and in the course of client engagements. It is maintained by PICOVAL LIMITED and written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Who we are

PICOVAL LIMITED is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered company number and office address are published on this website and in the footer of every page.

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at contact@picoval.co.uk.

What we collect

Contact data you choose to send us: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of the message you send by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Technical data generated when you browse: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed. This is standard web server and analytics data.

Engagement data during a project: the information necessary to design and build your system, handled under the terms of our contract and any non-disclosure agreement in place.

This website does not operate a contact form and does not run a user account system, so we do not collect passwords or maintain visitor profiles.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.

To operate, secure and improve this website.

To measure marketing performance in aggregate, including conversion measurement for advertising.

To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations that apply to a UK registered company.

Cookies and analytics

We use analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google tags, to understand how the site is used and which campaigns lead to enquiries. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential site functionality, such as remembering your language and theme preference, is stored locally in your browser and is not used for tracking.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate: hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and advertising platforms, communication tools such as email and WhatsApp, and professional advisers where required.

Where a project requires a specific processor, that arrangement is set out in the engagement contract.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept while there is an active or reasonably expected business relationship. Contract and financial records are kept for the period required by UK company and tax law. Project data is returned or deleted at the end of an engagement according to the contract.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent for analytics at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@picoval.co.uk. If you are in the UK and are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Security

We apply least-privilege access, keep credentials in secret managers rather than documents, separate development and production environments, and remove access at project handover. No system is absolutely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
